With the K&N alone you won't see much for performance but once you start modding the machine it pays off. Ditto on the other posts as far as cost savings over constantly replacing the paper filters. Use the pre-filter also(stock if you have one or spend the few extra $ for a K&N). Won't have to clean/re-oil it as often.
