Default Questions about generations of models

I'm having a hard time finding service / repair manuals in PDF for my 06 SP800EFI and my buddy's 04 SP700carb.

Keep in mind I'm trying not to pay cent for either if at all possible.

1) I have a PDF service manual for an '02 - '03 SP700 (#9918066) is that the same machine as an '04 SP700? It looks different, the '04 has kind of like eyebrows above the bumper headlights and the ones in the book look straight.

2) I have a PDF service manual (#9919820) for '05 SP700EFI & SP800EFI, is that the same machine as my '06 SP800EFI? It looks it on the cover.

Thanks to all for the info. I greatly appreciate it.

If you need either of the service manuals I have, send me a PM on here.

Erik

Looking different is usually just because of a Plastic change. Even if you have a manual say, for a 03 it would still be 75% helpful for a 09. Even when a motor switch from carb to EFI the motor itself remain untouched.

I kind of figured as much. But with my luck they'll have made some stupid little change that would send my diagnosis all over the place.

Your 800 manual will work because they didn't change anything in 06. The 700 manual should work for the other machine. Pretty sure the major changes were cosmetic since the 700 wasn't efi until 04.5.

only the 08' 800 which is the HO would be differnt in the manual and like mentioned even that would be a small differnce. i have both an 05' manaul as an 08' and there isnt much if really differnce between them.
