Where can I find some black plastic for my scrambler I saw it in a mag and was wondering where I can find it?

 

As far as I know there isn't any. One guy around here painted his black but I cant see the paint taking too much abuse. Your not the only one who would buy black, everything I have is black except for my red scrambler.

 

Black may be avaliable soon though. The Scrambler X, a promotional quad from Polaris, has black plastic. In the past, they have offered the plastic colors avaliable on thier special machines through your dealer.
For instance, you can now get yellow or silver plastic for your scrambler if you wanted.

 

Maier Plastic makes black for a 250R check out my pics. My bro-in-law has his 1988 250R decked out in black. I don't know if they make any plastic for Polaris in black. Worth a shot though.

Lurch, Do they really offer silver?? If so this has me thinking.....

 

TODD400, the Polaris 2001 catalog has the silver plastic listed for a gen 3 for 249.99$.

 

Very cool, Do you know if the hood is silver too?? this really has my interest up!! That set up would look pretty sweet with a new graphic kit and the black seat I already have!!

One thing I dont like about this message board is that nothing is time stamped. So I have no idea how old this thread is, I found it doing a search for "black plastic". Anyway... I am interested in this Silver plastic people are talking about. Does anybody have pics? And while we're at it, does anybody have pics of a quad with the black plastic on it? Hell...
