Default Help Please

Have a polaris xplorer 400. Just purchased and have things that don't work. I have no lights, brake or headlight. Electric start doesn't work, no nstrument panel lights......digital dash doesn't work either. I have replaced the battery and relay switch for the starter, nothing still. I can start with the rope pull and it runs fine, but no electronic work at all.

Suggestions on what to check here?

Thx

I have a 95 Explorer. looking at the front just under the handle bar head light is a plastic body cover that pops off and all the fuses are under there.

its easier to get on and off it you take off the top of the front rack. I think it is just 4 bolts/screws holding it on. And also unscrew the 2 cycle fill cap and pull off the rubber stopper around it.

its easy to get that thing wet, so turn on all the switches and switch it on and see which fuses are not working with a test light

I don't think mine has any fuses, but when I get home, I'll take a look. Thanks.

Wires under headlight pod prone to frying. Place to start.

Thanks for all the replies. I found the problem last night - it was the ignition switch !!!! Previous owner had it taped together, must've come undone !!

Thanks all !
