Default First Snow!

Had our first taste of snow here last night! Only about 1/2 to 3/4 inch but it was crusty/slick and I made the mistake of taking my Buell 1125R to work. After 5 minutes of letting her warm up I headed out for the 1st gear, 20mph & under, ride home. Thankfully I am only a few minutes away because it was +28 with below zero windchill. Still felt like forever and the handfull of early A.M. drivers were pretty freaked when I got sideways a few times. Made it home upright anyway. Thinking I'm taking the truck tonight-lol!

That snow was just a pain in the butt yesterday. I was towing a mini track hoe to a job about 100 miles north of me, and the roads made me very nervous. Saw a SUV rolled over and the roads looked like ice. On the way home they cleared up real good though.

I'm ready for winter. I hate the heat. I'd rather dress up than sweat constantly.

Well all I well tell you its been in the mid 90 for the last week in my area in Florida, breaking all time records for 3 days in a row. So went out for a ride with 6 buds yesterday and we ended up loding up and going home as it was to hot and humid to ride. Sounds like were candy As$^& but with all the dust and dripping wet it was not enjoyable. Its already 87 out today, lookes like there will be no 2nd try for a ride today.

Just keep the heat down that way. I too would much rather see snow flying opposed to sweating my ***** off. Some of us are naturally more insulated than others.LOL.
