Does the ECM control the idiot light?? I am having an issue that the light blinks but the machine is not overheating. The fan operates properly comes on anfd off, but the light is blinking whether the fan is on or not. I can't seem to find any other sensor that just controls the temp. light icon??

yes i have a 2005 polaris sportsman 500 ho and it was recalled for the ecm being bad. Before i gotthe recall notice my light would do that and then i took it to the dealer and got it fixed and only overheated once since then because of mud caught in fan. post it when fixed
