TLC the carb I'm talking about is on the 2000 model 500 and back. This is the best carb (in my old opinion). Needle seat is held in securely by a plate and screws, float assy easy to adjust, and didnt leak unless needle valve worn!

Sorry guys was away for the weekend. OK Caper I will look into the fuel pump rebuild, the price and all. Yah, OPT the the newer style with all plastic parts where everything is kind of just "sitting" in place is not the better way to go....I like the snowmobile carb that is a Kehien (spelling) No problem with those yet.....
Well wheily, I think that I do want to smash it with a sledge LOL....I have bent that tab all over the place with no luck....I'll make my own needle and seat and pull up on a string to make fuel flow if I have to....LOLOL
