Default shweky noise

I have a 01 sportsman 500ho when I am driving it makes this sketchy/ shweky noise. coming from the front. I only here it when I am riding on ruff terrain.
I was thinking it was the rack in the front but it's not, I went to the front of it moved it left to right I could here the noise. sound like it coming from under the front some where.

I have no idea what it could be So I was asking to see if anyone knows.

Give it a good grease job? It sounds like a dry joint somewhere to me!

Look for a grease nipple on the bottom of the ball joint. Not sure if that year model also had one on the A-arm, in the middle of the shaft.

check the steering shaft as well. might not have grease fittings but you might have to lube where the hold downs are and the steering shafts go thru. imo

There are about 21 fittings on an 01 Sportsman. Ensure you get them all annaully.

Think it has both an upper by the handlebars, and one down at the bottom of the shaft for the bushing.
