Default 27" Tire Upgrade

Do you guys think I'll have any issues running 27x9x14 up front and 27x11x14 out back in Swamplites with stock rims?
I'm planning on upgrading tires and would like to go one size larger. Too bad Maxxis Zilla doesn't come in that size because they sure are a light tire. Total tire weight for the 4 Swamplites will be 116lbs. The Carlisle Terrathons coming off weigh 80lbs. total.
Should I be concerned with the added mass and wear on axle/parts?

I really like that tire, they were actually my first chioce, just can't justify their price for a quad tire.

Why are you concerned about going to 27X10's and 27X12's, for the zilla's

And I would perhaps look a little deeper than the swamp lites, they are good, but the lugs being so close together doesn't allow them to clean out near as good as other tires in the mud

I just thought that the tire's would be too wide for the stock rim width? I didn't know you could run a 10" wide tire on a 6" wide rim (fronts) and a 12" wide tire on an 8" wide rim (backs)? I'd be worried about breaking the tire loose on low psi settings.

You mentioned price? You pay for what you get when it comes to tires! Why own the best machine (and expensive) on the market and not spring for top of the line tire?

I purchased ITP Terracross tires for my sportsman and they are incredible. Owned a set of Kendas on a previous machine and was dissappointed.

I'm gunna have to disagree TLC, there were problems with the 09 axles, and they were not related to tires at all, and dealers will replace them all under warranty, and also he has a 2010, which has the new axles, and there are no problems yet with the 2010's

and as far as the rim size and stuff goes, I think you'd be fine, but I'm not completely sure

Any other input on the 27" tires on an XP 850? Would you need a small lift for the 27" tires. Looking at the possibility of GBC Dirt Commander. Not sure how true GBC are to size.
