i wouldn't waste my money on the H/C clutch kit myself. the header and the air intake (i think) is helpful. there is less air restriction w/ these parts. can't remember for sure, but even the 800 primary clutch parts??(help me out that one guys) will give extra power. maybe an dalton clutch kit or spring would help out. imo.

Should be able to get the header from Breese lawn and garden on e-bay, get the newer 2 piece one, some of the older 1-piece would break, put the larger 800 air snorkel on the air box and update the clutches to the new rolller ones off of a newer 800, all good mods I have done them to my 03, 700 I also have a white bros. muffler but they are getting hard to find.

I never did the header on my 02 700, but i did do the HC clutch kit, .050 timing key, pure polaris/wb pipe, and 800 roller secondary. Of those mods the combo of the 800 secondary and HC kit was the most beneficial i'd say. If i was to do it over again i think i'd just buy an 800 primary and secondary, put your 700 weights in it, and run it.

I bought mine used off ebay for 90 bucks shipped i believe, i just recently sold it after selling my 700, but they're pretty common on there. If you scrounge around you can usually come up with a used one for not a lot of money...

Yeah, I looked a few minutes ago and all I found was a 700 roller secondary. But the 800 is really what you want. The helix is a little more aggressive and an improvement over the 700.
