Default First Decent Snowstorm!

Finally got a good snowstorm so I could try out the tracks and new rzr plow! Talk about a blast. Got my place done and did three of my neighbors. Definitely makes plowing fun!!! Going to have to wear hearing protection with the HSP duals for sure. My ears are still ringing.

Just a thought.....Won't plowing with the tracks wear them out quicker..I mean cause your turning on the blacktop and all.....I plowed here too in NY...We got like 6 in. of heavy wet stuff....Now it's raining.......

Had about 6-7 inches. Probably packed down to 3-4 now with rain. I'd rather have just snow.

Plowed for the first time with my sportsman 800. Worked great once I remembered the reverse override button!! Sometimes I'm not very smart!

On those plowing days...zip tie the button down. works good. Or, bypass the switch but I find a zip tie to work fine when needed.

All the snow keeps moving through south of us... iowa got hammered! Not enough to plow here yet, maybe 2 inches stuck and I have gravel driveways. So, I'll wait to plow, let the snow pack a bit first. Very windy here!!

I did recently purchase new hardware/U bolts for the plow brackets which were rusty, I'm ready.

As far as the snow, wish it could have held off, the lakes JUST froze over, snow on top means poor ice...hopefully the snow blows off the ice so we can get a good base of good ice!

Hey ScottM09, check my threads on the reverse override. Super easy and you won't have to use the button in reverse!
As for the tracks, most of my plowing is in the yard and stuff. I pack down a layer first so they don't get worn out. Don't even want to know how much a replacement track is!

You lucky SOB! I'm an hour north of you and we got jack squat.... I was hoping to get to put a few miles on the sled and plow with the new (to me) 800, but no dice. All we got was cold and wind, yay....
