02 700 sportman runs bad ,bogs when filter is on remove filter runs much better , connect air box without filter run like it has the filter on it . what do you think carb or filters it did sit for 3 years ran good for 2 times out.

 

If it has sat for three years the first thing I would do is swap the fuel filter and pull the carb for a good cleaning.

 

replace th fuel, maybe the fuel filter, and clean the carb for sure.

 

Have you done the re-call on the vent tube from the engine to the air box? The filter thats there will get moisture in it and freeze and crack, will run poorly, new line has no filter, this gave me problems on my 03.

 

I had it out maybe 5 times and it ran good ,could be better on top in seem to miss I had it out at the mud bog and it would just stop running ,found alot fuel in the air box , I think the re -build need 2 be done
