Angry Audiotube

I am in the process of building an audiotube for an Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word  using 6" PVC and 90 degree elbows. I have run into and issue with the speakers. I have tried a couple of different ones, I currently have Sony 6-1/2" Marine speakers and am having issues mounting them.......anyone out there built one of these before? Any suggestions? I am thinking about using a cap and cutting a hole in it. I am up for advice though. Thanks in advance.

The cap end should work fine(as long as you have the speaker smaller than the 6'")........You can put a small amount of fiberglass insulation in boths ends to help dampen the sound......As the Bazooka tubes do with the car tubes............Caper...............

The one I built, I used a 2" wide piece of PVC pipe in the end of the 90 and that is what I screwed the speakers to...

Thank you for the link. This looks like the best way. I am going to give it a shot.
