I believe with the 2010 machines you do not need to modify the sway bar...

Can anyone confirm?

For a good all around tire the BHs (or 2.0s) can't be beat. Great traction, last a very long time and are tough.
If you want something a little more agressive but don't want a full tilt mud tire look hard at the Zillas..
The ITP Mudlite XTRs are pretty good tires, but heavy for the performance they offer IMO,they actually feel heavier on the machine than the advertised weight elludes to imo...I never actually weighed them, but they felt VERY heavy on my 850 compared to the BH2.0s. My next all purpose tire with focus on mud will be the Zillas.
Great info on the weight comparison. I was wrong about the regular Big Horns. But at least I was right about the 2.0's. I might have to consider those myself if they are anywhere near as tough as the originals.

26x9x14 front and 26x11x14 rear...on the 09 XP they will require the swaybar mod or spacers to run the 11's on the rear on stock wheels.

Hmmm, I hoping I would not have to MOD my sway bar. Hopefully there is someone out there with the BH's 2.0 on the same machine.

I think im leaning towards the BH's 2.0, what do you guys think? How are they in the MUD?? I heard 50/50..

The 2010 machine should'nt need any mods to the sway bar. Polaris redesigned how it mounts and now has about 2" give or take of clearence from the stock tire.

I am considering the Interco Swamplite that have been rated for all the above conditions. This is a 6-ply tire. A different thought process on size for my decision. I am looking at going with 28-9-14's all the away around. Looking for the old school "pizza cutter" look and feel. I should not experience any clearance issues and gain some height.

Overall I would say there are many good tires on the market and would say the best reviews come from those that have them on their units.
Skinny swamplites won't get you anywhere in the deep snow. Do a search on youtube and look at member "outyxt800" his vids show some deep snow! If ya can't find it, let me know. he has been running zillas, Outlaws, and mudbugs. The bugs and zillas looked to work best overall in the deep snow.
If anything go with skinny front and wide rear, but better yet, get wide all around.

Also look for Rockman and Kodiak660 on youtube and at atvnation. These guys ride more in a day (in the mountains) than most people ride in 6 months.

High, You would say go swaybar mod over spacers? I'd rather bend a simple swaybar a bit over changing the geometry of the bike with spacers.

Does anybody know if the 2010 swaybar will easily swap out for the '09. That would be a really easy no-brainer fix, but cost $.

To swap out the sway bar a 2010 sway bar onto a 2009 is a bit more than just a couple bolts. On the 2009 models the battery sits in between the frame rails under the seat. On the 2010 model the battery has been repositioned to allow the sway bar to pass through the frame. In addition "I think and don't hold me to this", but the 2010 muffler mount tabs are different than that of the 09's which was partly due to the sway bar change. I believe they're two different part numbers as well.

Basically do the sway bar mod on your 2009 as described in other posts, which is fairly easy and be done with it.
