Default Please help me decide

So i am looking for some advice on these three quads, looking to buy the best one

1. 2006 Artic Cat 500 4x4 279 mi. $2850
2. 2004 Polaris 600 4x4 95 hours $3000
3. 2002 Yamaha Grizzly 660 102 hours $2500?

I am just looking for the very best all around bike, at these prices the $$ is really not the issue, thanks in advance

best thing to to try them all out and decide which you like the best. for me it would be the yam, or the polaris. imo

I gotta ask. Did you see these quads on craigs list? It seems I just looked at these three models yesterday for those prices. If that is the case they all looked like pretty clean and well maintained machines. I'd take any of the three, but the artic looked like it had never been ridden!

Never been a big fan of any artic cat.

2. if the polaris was maintained the 600 wouldnt be bad. probably would have the most "plush" ride.

3. the 660 would probably be the most powerful of the three. never had experience with the 660, but i like my buddys 700 ( i know totally different machine).

just check all of them out, test ride if you can. good luck

I'd also go for either the Polaris for a super comfortable ride or the Yamaha.

I would grap the 660 out of those, the 600 Sportsman was a short lived twin that had little power increase over the 500.

I ride a 03 660 Grizzly all the time, and it has never given us trouble and is a power house, and has all the optiontions like IRS,Diff lock, great power. 102 hr works out to about 1000 miles which is nothing.

I couldn't tell the difference between the 500HO and the 600 twin HP wise. The twin did sound different though. My dad rides a 660 grizz that has never had any issues, but I find it a bit tippy on the trail. I think if it was all I rode, I'd be used to it and not notice it. The few AC's I've been on I couldn't wait to get off. The ride is harsh, not what my back can handle. Power and ergo's aren't bad, but the ride is too stiff (for me at least), and no swaybar means less trail manners than I'm used to.

Starting to sound like Yammy is winning as more favorable on a Polaris forum.
Gee we shouldn't be accused of brand bias!

Either would be great (yam or po)! - IMO!

Just know if you buy the po and need any help we are here to help!

Cheers,

R'
