2011 XP models
#1
Any word on what could be expected this year for their 2011 XP line up? I would hope all those recall issues would be fixed in their new year model BUT would hope for alot more to offer a new year model. Colors yes, deluxe models or is that something of the past? We still see the Limited editions (maybe that is a Polaris trend?). GPS or built in air compressors? Shifter **** re-design? More powerful 550 (Maybe) or just another model in-between the 850?
Thoughts?

Just can't wait until summertime, eh? I did find it interesting that they introduced the RZR4 in the middle of winter????????? I wish they'd make an X2 850 with EPS but will bet I shouldn't hold my breath on that one.

Moose......I'd be happy with an X2 EPS with the 550 motor.......... The world's most versatile ATV....with a choice of two colors and no EPS.....Hmmm. The X2 was designed for work and play......the EPS would have made a lot of sense to have on the X2 now. EPS in the "barn yard" would've been a big plus and sales point. I'm looking forward to a Limited Edition X2 that may cure some of our angst....ya never know..... NoJoke

FunRide.....the 2010 Touring 550 and 850 have EPS.......the 2010 Touring 500 and the 2010 X2 do not.....or least not at this point of time with the X2........NoJoke

MH, good point on the RZR4 especially for Polaris to release it after most HUNTING seasons state wide and after the holidays? Hmm seems strange unless their marketing is for more spring and summer sales for the recreational buyers you will buy it for like DUNING you refer to.

Yeah, R, I think the new RZR4 is geared towards the dune crowd. Not too many of those up here in New England. Hypersensitivity towards our coastline rules out the beaches. If I were to buy a Ranger it would be either the Ranger HD or the Ranger 6x6. I would need them more for work than fun. I still probably use my quads more for chores than fun. They sure beat using a wheelbarrow.

Here is something to consider, could Polaris ditch the XP line and make it something else? Much like what they did with the Hawkeye? Could all those recall issues (still on-going) make them re-name or re-class the XP machines?
I hope not, I would just like them to fix the current problems and add a few extras, more options in the XP line.
