Default gravity feed gas line??

just wondering about this..I have a 1987 trailboss 250 and as far as I can tell it should have an inline gas filter near carb..it now has a filter that resembles a riding lawn mower filter and it is midway in the line...is there a chance this is causing bogging down at half to full throttle cuz it is not getting enough gas????

Possible, not likely. Pull the carb off and clean it thoroughly

if its never been changed its possable. its an easy check. but id guess it needs the carb gone over and rebuilt.
