air screw on carb
#1
have figured out that when my trailboss bogs down after a few seconds it is the air mixture screw backing out due to vibration..if i tighten it up to proper settings issue goes away..looking for ideas on how to keep it in one spot..think is the missing link to my finally taking a ride..thanks

you could put a washer behind the spring,in case the spring has lost it's tension.
manufacturer's supply has rebuild kits for less than 20 bucks, and it looks like they give you everything, take a look-see.
You really don't want to put any locktite or epoxy on that screw.
good luck

take the spring off & stretch it out a little bit that might help for a while, u may have to
get a new spring after a while, or might even have to get a little bit stiffer spring about the same size at a hardware store if the threads in the carb or on the air screw are
getting loose. I have had this happen on weed wackers before.

you're welcome,we knew you could do it.
Don't put any locktite of any kind on the carburetor. the metals are too soft and you may need a readjustment later.
Let us know how it runs when you get it back together

put everything back together and it ran fine for a minute and than started to bog out again,,,i think it may be the fuel filter and line...i saw what appears to be a small leak either in hose after filter or at connection to filter,,filter looks a bit old and i feel like there is not a consistent fuel suppy,,there may be pockets of air until the nest pocket of feul comes in...those are my thoughts..waiting for my new air filter too..
