In the trunk I carry a 1/4 drive socket setup to 14mm, a 2inch and a 3 inch extension. A short ratcheting screwdriver, with changable tips. tips to include are a phillips, torx T40, T25, and a flat tip. A leatherman. And of course the oem tool kit. A roll of electrical tape. A coaches whistle,(it traveles farther than a scream for help). A pair of socks and t/p in a ziplock. and a plug kit. I also have a road flare ziptied to a frame rail under the seat(great for stating a fire anytime)
Also if you slime your tires you will never need your plug kit.

I don't carry stuff for if the quad breaks I carry stuff for all the other stuff I have that breaks. Tow chains, straps, trailer *****,clevis or two, fence wire, fence tools, hammer, handy man jack, vice grips, channellocks, 10" crecent and enough tarp straps to hold almost anything. Most of my miles are around the farm so I carry what I use the most. A milk crate on the back rack and a coustom rack on the front haul it all. The only thing in the box under the seat is the stock tool kit. You need to have faith in your machine. Mine has not let me down yet execpt for the afternoon in bottomless sand pit.

Folding tow bar
Steel front rack

MOUSIN, this is from experience, the two most important items to carry with you on the trail (besides a spare plug and wrench)is a set of 7" vise grips and 3 replacement chain masterlinks. I once had to walk 10 miles down the mountain at night for a tow ride home cuz my chain snapped. If I had the link and grips I would have been back up and running in 5 minutes.

Remember 7" vise grips and 520 o ring masterlinks.

He/she probabley won't fit in your trunk, but a riding buddy is always really handy, unless you do something really stupid . Then you have a witness who will delight in telling EVERYBODY the boneheaded thing you did!!!
I didn't see GPS mentioned either, coupled with a good map with LAT/LONG markings. We routinely get "lost" and have to backtrack out only to discover that we were fairly close to where we started.
Mousin, from a fellow TB325 rider- ENJOY!!!!

You need a spare set of buttons for the driven clutch if you ride a polaris. You will also need a set of snap ring pliers and the tools to change them. My buddy has a 400 sport and has broken the buttons several times.
