2009 Polaris Sportsman® 500 EFI ATVs
I know the EFI has heavier 26" tires vs the H.Os 25" tires but that should be moe than canceled out by the H.O having steel rims vs the efi's lighter alloy rims. The 500 efi comes stock with a winch and the H.O does not maybe? Is the brain box that runs the EFI that heavy?

the Aluminum rims are probbly just as heavy if not heavier than the steel wheels they are a lot thicker than the steel wheeles and the winch alone is probbly close to 30 LBS with the mounting kit and roller. According to DennisKirk.com the warn 2.5I winch is 27lbs shipping weight.
Also an average aluminum rim rolls in at just about 14lbs for a 12 inch wheel and a 12 inch steel rim rolls in at right about 14lbs
