I noticed riding in the snow today that my right front wheel was not engaging. After running around a little and going front and back, it began to engage a little but it is still not right. I am going to tear into it tomorrow and don't have a manual. I checked the exploded parts list on BikeBandit and looks like there is a mechanism in there for the 4wd part. Hope I can just clean and lube it up. Any help or recommendations appreciated.

thanks for the info.....I just got it about a year a go and still learning all the things that need to be done....fluid has never been changed....when I pulled it off today, I noticed there wasn't any fluid in it, but could tell there should be...I'm guessing the fluid is what causes the hub to lock out somehow.....there doesn't seem to be anything mechanically wrong inside, however, it looks like the rear seal is damaged. There is a coil wire that looks like it should wrap around the rear seal to keep it tight and it was pulled out and was flopping around.
what do you mean by two wires? I didn't see any....anyway, is the hub supposed to be completely full?

posting an update.....I found the two wires going done to the hub got severed by the electric fence wire. Fortunately there was just enough sticking out to solder the wires back together. A little tricky but I got them soldered. Then I couldn't figure out why the little plate wouldn't lock up when I pushed in the switch. Doooh....has to be in drive! All I have left to do now is to secure the wires with some of that blue gasket material. At least that's what it looks like was used before. Thanks for the suggestions.
