so those tracts can get stuck. good thing to have a winch.

First time I've pulled someone downhill. He broke through the crust and it was like getting them under a log. Just had to shovel to break the crust and let them climb out.

Looks like a good time! Got to be a pain getting out of the deep stuff with tracks. Snow is melting pretty good here so I'll have to wait until next Winter to bury mine.

Kinda like "Muddin" but you don't have to wash it off.

Was that an avalanche you rode over in the second pic? I think I'd tread very lightly in those areas!

Yes, it was a small avalanche that we triggered and watched it come down. We didn't cross it without a lot of discussion, as you can see just past it that it all didn't slide. Once off the slid portion, we made a fast run for the protection of the trees.

As far as avalanches go, these areas were of greater concern to me.
