Wider tires up front will help in deep stuff cuz they won't dig as much but you will have the downside of needing wheel spacers and steering effort will be harder. The harder steering will also make for more frequent bearing and tierod changes up front.

Hummm. Sounds interesting. Got power streeting, so might not be as much of an issue. Certainly some modifications needed though...More research required.
