It was at Quadovator but I don't think they offer it anymore...

What about your tire clearance and all the slop all over the can. Crazy sounding position to me.

That's pretty much how I feel.

I saw that on the quadovator website. Seems a little expensive for what it is.
As far as the slop and mess on the can: I think I would have it there only for emergency gas. Hopefully you are near a lake or pond so you can wash off the can before filling up.

I agree it might be messy to access if needed but it sure does beat pushing the bike. Not a bad way of saving space on the racks too.
My concern would be the mounting of the can and the extra weight on the plastic. Not sure if I would want to drill holes in my plastic either or have it flapping up and down on the fender.

You don't need to cut or drill any plastic. here is a pic. Quadovator doesn't have them on their website anymore.
On my quad my backseat/storage has a gas can holder built in.

Not a bad way to go then if the gas can is secured to a ridged mount of some type. Your photo is a bit hard to make out but it still gets your point across.
I would try to make one myself first before buying one though. Tubing, a drill, nut&bolts, how hard could it be?
Thanks for photos

Thats the largest photo I could find on google images. Quadovator took it off their website. If you emailed them I'm sure they would send you the full size photo.
It attached to the rear stabilizer bar on the left side that doesn't move and nothing else around or above it moves that would interfere. They said they haven't had any problems with it but then again it is no longer offered.

A piece of metal as a gas can base u-bolted to the stableizer bar and the the gas can straped to the base. Thats the gist of it anyway.
