Bigtwin600.. You will like the zillas, they're a great tire for all around use, had them on my 700 and kept them for the 800. I really can't see how a person could be disappointed with them, they're light, look good, perform well, and ride very smooth considering how aggressive they look. Oh i'm also from mn and i had mud lites prior to these, not even a comparison between the two...

Thanks for the help. I have been trying to pull the trigger on something for awhile and I had narrowed it down to either Duro Power Grips or the Zillla's and I am thinking the Power grips would be smoother on the trail but I think I would rather have the security of the Zillas if it gets muddy. I will probably just be getting the stock 25" size.

They do run a little bit short so I'd suggest going with 26's at the minimum.

opie, did the ss212 rims give you the offset needed to clear the sway bar without the mod...

Really.....no comparison between the XTRs and the Zilla ? How is that possible. Can you give an example of the differences you noticed. -In the buying rut myself.

I didn't have the xtr's so I can't compare those, but the mud lite xl's were not nearly as good as the zillas in mud, they plugged up much quicker. Handling was comparable with both, but there were really no downsides to the zillas in comparison to the non-xtr mudlites. The only possible gripe would be a very minor "bump" below 5mph, but you only notice of you really pay close attention.

800 shouldnt notice 28" zillas, maybe a slight loss of power but not much.

Go with the 28" Zilla's. Awesome tire and the 800 will barely notice them.

I get perfect clearance with those SS212's!! More than enough! The sway bar mod is if you are considering keeping the stock rims.
