Default check engine light

I have a 09 xp 550 and while riding my check engine light came on so I rode home and turned it off. As soon as I restarted it the light was no longer on. I took it to the dealer anyway and their diagnostics said that it corrected itself. Well its happened again , 350 miles later. Does anyone know whats going on with it? I'd hate to take it haul it back to the dealer, spend more money to hear the same thing. Thanks for any input.

hate to tell ya but digital wrench is the only thing that can tell what set it off just dont ride it before you take it make sure its on. unless you noticed something diffrent about how it rides just sorry but take it to a dealer. there is a self diagnostic you can do with the xp's but im not sure right of now and it would tell you just the code number. i might be able to tell you another time
