Fuel Problem with 08 Trailboss
I have gas dumping all over the place! Any help would be apprecated.
'08 Trailboss with @400 miles on it. Only ridden a few times. Last time was over 9 months ago. Stored in the garage. I ran the tank dry before putting it away. Fast forward to today.... I filled the tank and charged the battery. It started right away. Let it idle for a minute and then shut it down and continued to charge for another hour. Went back and there was gas all over the floor. It was leaking out the small tube hanging below the frame. The tank was dry but there was not 2 gallons of fuel on the floor. Hmmmm. I popped the seat and opened the air box. It was FULL of gas. Ugh! Any ideas? I am good with cars but I have never really turned a wrench on one of these. Thoughts?

Thanks guys! That's what I thought. I've been working with Carbs since I was in high school and had many sticking floats over the years but never fuel flowing with the engine off................... Duh! Needless to say I've never turned a wrench on an ATV/Motorcycle............ Oh yeah, the tank is ABOVE the carb! Gravity? Boy do I feel stupid :-(
Thanks guys. I'll report back once I figure it out.
