I bought this quad last fall for my wife to ride. we rode it maybe 4 hours and then I winterized it( changed oil and stabelized the gas). took it out this spring and it wouldnt start. So I started looking for the common things: I have spark, cleaned air filter, drained gas and put fresh gas in, checked fuel filter. Screwed with it for about 45 mins and finally got it running. put some sea foam in it and ran it for about 45 mins and ran good. Went to start it again yesterday and same problem. So i went and got a new plug gapped and still nothing. took the carb out and cleaned it up(wasnt to bad). nothing. I tried starting again for about 45 mins and nothing. So i did a compression test thinking this is the only thing left. well it came back at 80psi so i know this could/is the problem but what puzzles me is when i pulled that new plug out it was as clean as it was when i put it in. Wouldnt it be soaking wet after trying to start it for 45 mins? would low compression have anything to do with the plug not getting soaked by gas? just want to know what else to look for when i start to take the bike apart for the top end. thanks
