I am not complaining so much about the FS and not opening the area, it's the weather that everyone I know is tired of here in Colorado. A week ago I drove up close to our favorite camp spot and there was still 2 feet of snow on the flat and deeper in the trees, my wife is talking about moving to Texas or Georgia. Rain and snow last week, rain coming this week.

 

There's a pretty big section of the trails here closed for mud (and a fence install to keep guys from widening the trail). It sucks but what can ya do?

I try to stay off certain trails on my farm during wet weather. It can really tear them up and cause erosion problems. Saves me a ton of work fixing ruts.
