Default 2 different issues with Sportsman

I have an 02 500ho here are my two problems

1. Crepes forward in first at idle, Even if trying to start in gear it will want to roll as starter turns motor over

2. When idling sometimes lights flash off and on about the speed of a turn signal, revving motor does not change it.

thanks TonyT

1. Check your rpms. Should be around 1100 rpm. giver take. Also check your belt alignment.
2. Check your voltage output. Could be a bad battery, rectifier, or stator issue or possibly even a grounding issue.

sounds like the ebs bushing or washers could be worn out out. check voltage output and make sure connections on the lights. may be even the rectifier connections. you may have got mud/water into the stator area.

Fiber/Crush washers on your primary have seen better days for the creeping issue, and Stendori has you in the right direction on the lights, sounds like a bad ground

What type of ATV are you referring to? Sounds like you either have face plate bushing or clutch spring binding issue
