Default Ticking in the front end??

Hey all! I recently got my 01 Xpedition 4x4 back up and running after basically sitting useless for almost the past 2 yrs.. I was rolling my yard about a week back and I noticed that the front left wheel has a ticking/ or perhaps maybe binding noise... I rolled it back and forth slowly in the garage but didnt see anything... Im suspecting something w/the cv joint...Am I on the right track? Only has like 600 miles on it, but like I said been sitting for a bit...Thanks!

the best way to find out is to put it in reverse and turn hard both ways if its ur cv joint
it will click

most likely if your hearing the clicking sound out of the cv joint then the boot either is loose or got a hole in it and let water/mud in and it will eat cv joints in no time.

Thanks for the info/tips... maybe i will pull the wheel off and take a look... Id like to get it all squared away before fall and winter since I plan on getting a snow plow for it in the winter time at my new house...
