Default XP owners, watch your A_arms

Been hearing a popping sound in the right front, then it started pulling to the right, I investigated and found the lower right a- arm had a weld broken, looks like the weld didn't penetrate, I'm not very happy, `186 miles on wheeler, havent hit anything or abused it at all, **** poor welds, I will check every other one, anyone else having issues?

Here's a few pictures of a locals XP. 1 week old with 126 miles on it. Says the welds on the A-Arm broke. He claims the machine wasn't abused before it broke.

He better wash that XP to showroom clean before it goes to the dealership if he's gonna tell them it wasn't abused. That mud is all the dealer needs to blow the guy off and make him pay for the manufacturer's production floor error.

On a side note, my XP is an early run, Sep 08 build, and has much beefier A-arms than my buddies XP, which is a later build date (2 of 09). Me thinks Polaris took some steps for simplification (read that saving money during production) and maybe took it too close to the edge of structural failure. Add less then adequate weld penetration, and what appears to be lackluster weld inspection, and you have broken A-arms.

So this is the first time I've heard of anyone having problems with the A arms, or any problems with the welds at all. Anyone else???

I also noticed in the broken XP pics it appears to me the guy is running about 2 psi on his tires. Maybe less. Though I don't think that would contribute to the problem.
