Default 210 550 EPS: Intermittent EPS light

Wondering if anyone has had an intermittent EPS warning light (and the engine icon) come on? Mine came on yesterday and by the time I'd turned around and headed for home, it went on and off a few times then stayed off. I could not get it to come on the rest of the day, let alone on start-up to get a code. I think the EPS was also cutting out when the light came on, as it seemed harder to steer, but every time I slowed down to see if it really wasn't working, the light would go off the EPS seemed fine.

Nope, not on mine. Take it back and get a non EPS, problem solved for as long as you own the machine. J/K

Do a search here for that problem. I remember reading about many different glitches with the EPS XP's. One was loose wiring to the battery. Take a look and see if anyone else's posts are similar to what you experienced.

Thanks Roofer. I found the thread that points to possible loose connections. I'll have to check the batt and EPS connections tomorrow, if the rain lets up!
