Hi All,
Does anyone make a front metal rack or basket for the XP. I like the lock and ride system but I don't want to tear up the plastic loading firewood or whatever.

I put truck bed liner coating on mine. It helped a lot.

My inlaw bought a 550 xp,i love everything about it ,except the front rack.Iwish it had the storage box of the other sportsmans.Any added box blocks the head light.Ineed the room for all i carry.hope they change the design somehow

depending how you are with woodworking I made a great box for the back and could do the same for front, 30 bucks worth of good 1/2 plywood some screws const. adhesive,paint and some planning you should be able to make something in a few hours custom for your needs use some lock and ride harware and you can put it on and off when you want you have the two other headlights

 

Thanks for all the ideas. I ordered some lock and ride hardware and some light guage tubing. I'm going to fab up a rack that I can take on and off. I'll post a picture when I finish if it works out.

 

I bought the accesory box from polaris and it is perfect. It doesn't block the headlight at all. It is well worth the $140. They probbly wont make a intergrated box like the 05 and newer sportsman cuz the radiator is in the way
