05 600 sportsman no awd have 12 volts have 28.2 ohms at differential other than cage could a bent armature or gunked up roller bearings be the culprit have tested it with the back tires lifted.did pull front diff had little water in with oil bearings need replace cage wasnt cracked or broke armature had right wear could it just be bad roolers or should i replace the cage hoplessly lost oh did buy new armature and roller bearings going to pull it out again hoping for suggestions gauge shows awd on to

If it was the roller cage problem it would be in pieces,if it looks good it should be fine. Does the AWD light on the bars still come on and does the speedo work?

dirty fluid will cause it to not work....

yes the light is on changed the fluid cleaned it up when i broke it down the roller bearings were only shiny on one side had rust spots and gummed up cleaned up best i could dont work goin to replace bearings and armature with jdparts all the h clips were good also if the speed sensor is out will that cause awd problemsspeedo checks out when do the test on it by the manuel the mph doesnt work the sensor is out also the fuel tank sensor is out always shows full could thes two problems be part of my awd problem

No, the speed sensor (Hall Effect) at the wheel has nothing to do with the speedo's operation of the AWD.

so u think it could have been the water and the gunked up roller bearings that was the only thing inside that looked bad

just guessing, but if the rollers were messed up from water or what not i would guess that would effect the operation for sure. imo
