Chain care
#1
What's the conventional wisdom when it comes to chain care? Just picked up a Trailblazer 330 and am curious as to how you all maintain your chain? With my mountain bike I just take the chain off, swish it around in a jug of kereosene before wiping it dry. I then spray it down with WD40, wipe it off again and let it dry. Lastly, I apply whatever chain lube I'm currently using. This method kept the chain extremely clean and oiled.
I know this is more involved than can be down with a quad chain, or at least I'm thinking that. So then, how do you all clean your chain and keep it lubed?
Happy riding.

When I had a Polaris Xplorer I used to lube the chain up after each ride using the Polaris Chain Lube. It's a siliconized oil in a spray can. I would put the quad in neutral, spray the chain as I pushed it forward. I only had to tighten the chain once while I owned it.

I just spray mine down real good with the hose and I use Klotz chain lube on it. You have to make sure whatever you use is safe for the O-ring type chains that ATV's use. I also try to keep my chain tension where it should be.

Years ago I bought a grunge brush and z-chain oiler from Dennis Kirk. The brush works great for cleaning and has replacable bristles. The oiler clamps around the chain, you hook up your favorite lube to the attached hose, and rotate while lubing. Works pretty slick!
