I am soooo ready for Fall too. Mid 90's and wicked humid here in northern MN. Spring/Fall are the best seasons up here for wheeling/hunting/etc. Really enjoy plowing in the Winter.

I hate the extreme heat especially when it is 98 pluse degrees with the index of 110. Bring on 30 degrees. But to the poster who said 80? Come on 80 is comfortable at least around here in the mid-atlantic!

Today was pretty miserable in my neck of the woods with a heat index of something like 110. I was working out in the timber in the afternoon and it was just awful. Not a breath of air moving and the bugs were at biblical levels. Mosquitoes, deer flies, horse flies just wouldn't quit. Bite bite bite buzz buzz buzz. Watching the poor deer this evening they'd get so pestered with bugs they'd finally flip out and go charging across the field out of frustration.

I'm ready for a a killing frost to knock back the bugs and some nice temps in the mid 60s.

 

Grew up in the cold winters, had enough of that. While the 110º days do tend to just blow goats, let's not lose site of why we do like the summer temps.

I am ready for frozen lakes, snow, ice fishing, and tracked atv riding. Mongrol your pics are awesome, hopefully someday we can go on a tracked atv adventure together.
