Will do Fishy. Gotta get the $500 track mount kit now....and a new winch.....and a plow. These RZRs are sinkholes for cash. Can't believe the accessories available.

BTW: I'm stealing "A 4 wheel adventure will soon bring you happiness" -Great find in a fortune cookie.

Here's some pics of the rig....Pretty cool lookin' unit. It an '11 MY.

Not sure on the top speed, but I've heard the S will just top 65. That's plenty fast, but the fun part is it gets up to speed quick. I was surprised at the acceleration. It'll roost and throw crap all over the place, power-slide around corners with two people....super smooth on pavement. In all honesty, it will soak up "bumps" in the trail that would throw you off an ATV. I hit the front side of road cut-out (where a trail crosses a dirt road) fast and it just sucked it up. I'm certain I would have been on my head if on the XP. It climbs like a monkey too.....geared pretty low in low with a longer wheelbase.

Really happy with the performance. It's just fun for driver and passenger. First night I got it home I couldn't wipe the grin off my face. You can actually have a conversation at 35mph without any trouble.

Have not been turned back yet for size limits.

Moose: Hope you trip to Maine was fun. Too bad we didn't get to hook up. I had been up to Rangley with the kids the week before and couldn't get away. If you posted about the trip, shoot me the link. Would like to read it.

Great looking machine, Funride. Glad you like it. Wouldn't work in most of NH other than Jericho. I'm thinking next machine might be a regular RZR. Wife might even drive one of those. Here's a couple videos from Jericho ATV Park in Berlin, NH. http://forums.atvconnection.com/atv-...berlin-nh.html
http://forums.atvconnection.com/fami...berlin-nh.html The video doesn't do this trail justice. It's nasty.
Maine was nice. It was great to ride from where we were staying and connect up with the trails. I did about 250 miles or so. Went up to Pittston Farm and on another ride went to the US/Canadian border. http://forums.atvconnection.com/gene...man-maine.html

Really...Didn't know NH was so hardcore on the gates. Maine is 60" for ATV so I can get through everything so far. Unless the guys putting up the gates aren't exact and make them 58", which is possible....just haven't seen it yet. Jericho does sound like fun. I wonder if I need a temp registration if I'm from out of state. I've seen vidoes of Erik's trail before. That's nasty looking, but Holt's Revenge looks very doable. I'm sure the trails are worse than they look though.

Nice trip to Maine. Looks like fun. Big damn state. You just keep driving and driving. I really like the truly wild feel of northern Maine. Just hope it doesn't get too developed and bought out by real estate types in the years to come. It's already started around Moosehead....massive new high dollar construction going in. Not sure what the best long term solution is for off-roading. I'm thinking the state and/or the Feds need to take it over from the ailing paper industry. Would rather have a controlled riding environment, than none. If privately owned, it will all be posted "NO ATV / JEEP" in the next 20 years. Long way off though....and a whole 'nother topic for outside this forum.

Looking forward to taking my dog in the RZR (shotgun) and doing some grouse hunting in October. Likely head north.

Trying to get some folks together for a trip to Jackman before deer season in Nov. Hard to get multiple adults together for trips these days. Everybody is too darn busy all the time. Seems easier to just go with one other person, but more fun with multiple.

I don't really see the trails getting closed. If anything, especially in Northern Maine, they're bending over backwards to attract ATVers. I talked to a F+W guy who had us come to the prerequisite stop and he said it's slow but catching on. Most of the trails we were on were, as you said, owned by the paper companies. Had to stop a couple times to wait on a processor/loader. It's amazing how fast it grows back in up this way. Overall, I think Maine is in the lead with NH, then VT. The rest of New England is hardly worth riding unless it's a non-sanctioned trail.
On the Jericho front, I think you'd need to register your machine unless there was a sponsored event like they had in July at the park. They're having another ATV Festival next year in late July. I've seen a lot of guys with RZRs up there, even an S like you have.

Erik's was kind of nasty. Rene's Maze was very nasty. My son and buddy who were with me were on single rider machines grousing the whole time. Lots of tight twisty turns with rocks, stumps, steeps, and off cambers thrown in for fun. You'd just get setup for one turn and have to start setting up for the next one. Very technical. But, I like a challenge.

Better not Unit. Let's ride Jericho this winter. Open year round. Would be a blast in the snow. Of course I'd run circles around you with the tracks

Not sure what they do about grooming there in the winter... I posted a question on the Jericho Forum. GreatNorthWoods.net - AVATV Club - Winter riding at Jericho May take a couple days to get an answer.
