Default 06 x2 500 charging problem please help

I am having a charging problem with my 06 x2 500. I Have replaced both the battery and the voltage regulator (that is in front of the radiator). My next guess is the stator. What is happening is the X2 is not charging the battery. when running only about 1-2 volts are going to the battery and the battery is fully charged. Are there any tests to confirm this? What are my next steps. When I charge the battery externally the atv runs fine until the battery gets low.

do you mean you changed out the ecm? the recifier is built in to this. does everything esle work ok? maybe stator has been subjected to water and is causing it?

i would guess that the STATOR has been wet the x2 tried to be a boat in january. any way to fix it or just replace it. Also which side of the atv is it located? Is it located behind the belt and clutch?

Do a VAC test on the wires coming from your stator. As mentioned before the voltage should be close to the same on each of the three legs. There should be no less than 30-40 vac between each of the legs above 2000 rpm. If any leg varies significantly you may have a bad stator. Had similar issue last year due to water damage.
