Default 2002 polaris scrambler 500 help

i have a polaris scrambler 500 and when i lock it in 4x4 only one wheel is kicking in.why isnt the other front wheel kicking in?

Could be a number of things, the first thing to do is make sure there is demand drive fluid in the hub, if there is I`d change it alot of times thats all that is required. Next thing I`d do is make sure that the current is making it to the magnetic coil. This only applies if your hubs are the same as the early sportsmans.
Try searching the subject there is tons of great info here and I`m sure to will find the answer to your question. There is also a great write up and pictures on the front hubs explaining how to put them together properly.

Valley,
Pull the front upper body cover off and check/clean corrosion from the wire connectors for both front hubs. While your in there do the same thing for the coolant fan switch.
Let us know how it works for you.

Its either no power getting to that Hub or you need the change the Hub fluid.

i have bought a yamaha warrior 350 bored over 40 it runs and everything for $200.do you think it was worth it? i have pics on here
