Question 2006 sportsman 450

I cant get my quad to start. I have spark, I have fuel, when I try to start it it backfires thru the muffler. Its almost like its flooded. I have tried turning lights on off, charged my battery, starting fluid, throttle control sensor is fine. I plowed all last week during a storm worked fine, then Saturday drove it around parked it over night then started it up and it stalled so tried aging and it just tries to turn over but wont, even with the pull start. any help would be great!

by any chance has the ecm been replaced under the recall? did the electrical get wet some how and maybe preventing it from statring? is the plug wet when you checked it so you know it's getting gas? if so did you try a new plug? just a couple of thoughts.

airbox looks dry no oil or gas, the ecm is the silver one so I think it was replaced. The plug is wet when I take it out when I try to start it.

Is the manual Choke/en-richer stuck? Try starting without the air-filter.

A lot of people are not aware that a really wet and fouled plug can sometimes fire like a new one OUTSIDE the head when you are checking spark.

The same plug will not fire installed and under compression or sometimes such a plug will fire at the wrong time and cause a backfire.
