float height problem with the scrambler's BST40
I always had problem with the float height of the scramblers. I opened the carb like 20 times in the last few days to finally get it right, and I'm going crazy.
I just can't get a level that will allow engine proper engine operation. If I adjust the float so the engine will run OK, fuel is getting out of the overflow almost all the time, at the point there is probably more fuel getting to the ground that in the engine. If I adjust it a bit lower so the overflow isn't always spitting, the engine just won't start normally. I need to remove the air filter and choke the intake or put fuel in it in order to get the engine running.
I had the same problem one year ago and replaced the fuel valve needle and seat. Old one show a bit of wear, but nothing major
what should I do now ?

Problem solved, partly
after making more than a dozen different adjustement on the float height, Arrived with a setup where the overflow was pissing at idle, low throttle was mostly fine, and high throttle was making the carb running out of gas in a few seconds. I tough the culprit was the fuel pump, and when I checked my service manual, I found that the pump wasn't looking like the one on my scrambler
the pump actually installed on my scrambler is this
I ordered an used scrambler 500 fuel pump and can't wait to try it.
