Default Rpm ??

Can anyone tell me what rpm is the motor turning at 20mph on a 04 700 efi sportsman or a like. I built a buggy with this motor and the rpm's are not where i think they should be. I am going to get a EPI clucth kitfor it. I have no base to judge what the rpm's should be.. Thanks you..

there is alot of differnt factors on what the rpm's would be at any speed. terrain, tire size, weight on the bike.

If you know the clutch set up,(weights, springs) you can look at a chart and get an idea of what the engagement rpm and shift pattern should be.

But like Stendori said, there are a lot of variables to consider.
