Who here used to trash polaris but is now their #1 fan?

I remember trashing them and talking about how bad they were yet with time I realized they were faster, smoother, and went up down and through more than all the rest. Shame on me for being so bull headed and not realizing a great product. Yes I do love my Polaris. My back thanks me every time I saddle up.

At least around here it seems to be the younger crowd that is so mouthy towards polaris.
They are mid to late teens know everything done everything and wrote a book on it and no matter what you say they are right.
Most of the older crowd seems to like Sportsmans for the most part.

.Honestly, I think it is what suites you the best as to what you are going to like. I can honestly say that I have ridden different brands, and have not actually hated any of the rides. Some have had a little more pep to them, some are way more comfortable to ride. I have had my share of problems with my sportsman, but overall I am pretty happy because I know it is a decent machine, eventhough they do tend to shatter apart when you roll them, but that is a whole different story.

I think a lot of people ride what there dad rode... I know that the way it is around here... (for the younger crowd) I ride polaris not because of my dad but my uncle. I have a handful of friends who's parents had hondas from the 80's so since they grew up ridding them, thats the brand they perfer. I have had 4 diffrent Polaris ATV's and will own a lot more (as long as they are built in the US) I have loged well over 15,000 miles on my atv's and have had to do some repairs... I am not gonna lie :-) But I can honestly say 90% of the broken items were Self inflicted! A few torn CV boots, Battries, belts, a starter, one new storage lid and The one that I was a littl upset about was a new fuel injector (at 3,000miles). But I believe in US made quality and stand behiend my Machines

Yep...although I've ridden many types, when it was time to buy my first one, I researched long and hard and bought the best (at that time). I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I do not bash any brand. Polaris just does the best at what I llke a ATV to do.
I like an awesome 4X4 that will muscle through anything and has a Cadilac ride = Polaris.
I agree about shattering when they roll end over end down hill. It hurts the rider also....thank GOD I had full coverage insurance on my 2001 SP 500.
