electrical problem need help

Default electrical problem need help

can anyone tell me how to test the stator to make sure it is good. also is the sscb a breaker and if so where is it located on a 2006 sportsman 500

You should have three wires comming from the case of the stator. Follow them they should plug into your voltregulator. you will need a wire schematic to look at the color coded pins and it should give you a ohms reading. Note if you doing this because of no spark keep in mind your crank positioning coil is also located on the stator case you should unplug it and ohm it as well. Hope this helps
