polaris predator 600cc big bore help!

Hello, I have a 2003 Polaris Predator I just rebuilt. It has a Hot seat performance 600cc big bore kit web cams and maybe an aftermarket CDI also a Hot seat performance slip on and a k&N Filter. Carb specs are 180 main 42.5 starter jet and 50 pilot. The Predator starts up easily and idles fine but i can only rev to about 1\4 throttle and then it stumbles and dies. if i can get the rpms high enough in the low range and hit the throttle hard it will bog from 1\4 to WOT but pick up and rev out I cant figure this out the timing is spot on. There is some small damage on the flywheel on the inside part where the stator rides would that have anything to do with it? Any info or help of any kind would be absolutely awesome i have done everything to pulling the covers of to set the timing chain back for sure and pulling the valve cover off a million times to turn the ignition timing off 180 and nothing helps I have also changed the jet need position to all positions and still nothing.

try it with the choke on of its better its leam, then try with airfilter out, if better its too rich, have you checked the diaphram on top of carb? take airbox off and put your finger in the carb and lift the slide manually, since you have all the hot seat parts call and ask them about it I'm sure they would help

hey my battery died on me but the diaphram is good, I tried it with the choke on and the air filter off and i was able to rev it much better and it had a bunch of black smoke come out of the exhaust.. Think I need a jet kit? The main is a 180 please tell me what you think thanks!

which way did it rev , air filter off? Is the spark plug black or wet? Im bettin its too rich, 180 seems high on the main jet, not sure what stock is on a predator go to a dealer if plug shows its rich and buy some jets, go down to a 175try it then go to170-165 ect, Ill bet you get it within 4 jet sizes, they do have half sizes like 167. 5 too but if you get close with the 5,s you can always get the half size later

It revved up with the choke on and the air filter off although i didnt try it with the air filter on I bet it would rev up with it on as well. It seemd like it is way too rich and with the choke on its getting just enough air to rev and that is where the black smoke is coming from right? unburnt gas? I ordered a Carb Rebuild kit so I will bring it back to stock and go from there I am also going to order a Dyno jet kit Stage 1 and 3 and take it from there I know I shouldnt need both but my Carb Bowl gasket got stretched when I let the carb cleaner hit it so I cut it so it would fit again. I figured I should replace all the gaskets too. Thanks so far for your help Kerbbirds much appreciated!
