We just ran into a problem with a Polaris winch (2007 Sportsman 500 EFI Deluxe)Tried to order parts and were told they are no longer available.Has any one else replaced parts on a Polaris winch and if so where did you get the parts???

 

What parts are you trying to replace?? I went through 2 of them then switched brands. I do still have the last one might have what u need!!!

 

If your winch is one of the polaris winches made by warn you can find parts on the warn site. If it's one of the later chinese pieces of crap I'd just get a new warn. I know you could still get the warn made in 2007 (mine is) but that's about the same time they switched to the POS winch, so you may have gotten one of those depending on what the dealer had on the shelf at the time.

 

The deluxe's have the POS, not the Warn.

 

My 07 polaris is a deluxe with all the bells and whistles and the winch is in fact a warn/polaris not just polaris POS. I know this because my contactor was having intermittent problems and I contacted Warn with the serial# and model stamped on the winch and they confirmed it was a warn and replaced my contactor switch free of charge. If it was a Polaris brand would warn have have done me this service? I think not! Deluxe500EFI, check and find out if you do or do not have an actual warn winch. Warn might treat you as they treated me.

 

you might be able to get parts through gorilla(or what ever their called now)as they use basicly the same parts as the warn or others. check prices though as it might cost as much as an ebay winch would new.

 

Just ordered Polaris winch parts from dealer, most common parts are available.
What parts can't you get?
07 Deluxe should have Warn winch with Polaris decal.

 

I still say it's not a Warn - I have three 2007 deluxes, and all had the Polaris POS winch when new.

 

Ours is not a Warn winch..Scrapped the old one and installed a Ramsey.3500...Thanks for all the replies..
