Default New 850 XP prices?

My friend is looking into buying a quad...He has his eye on a used one but I'm trying to see what the difference in price would be if he were to buy new...What price are we looking at for a 2011 850 XP EPS...I hate to see him buy used because ....well it's used and not sure how it was taken care of....Any help would be appreciated...Also I remember seeing once that someone listed all the changes they made for the 11's..Does anyone have that also...

MSRP is $9,999, so most dealers around here are selling it at that. I don't know how you plan to buy it, but my dealer knocked 1k off of the price for me because I paid in cash.

He's looking at an '09 800 with 100 miles on it for $6000...Is that a good deal...I know it depends on what shape and all but ballpark...

I drove to Shoals Outdoor Sports in Alabama from Denver to buy my 850XP LE EPS, I didn't mine the drive since I saved $2,000 including tax's. They list the 850 EPS for $8,399 on their web site which is how I found them. When I was looking for the 850 I also found 2 other dealers in Tennessee close to their price.

IMHO...if your friend wants an XP and cannot afford a new '11 or left over '10, then purchase a used XP. The difference between the new style and the older style...is a vast improvement.

So...don't settle...

Example: My '09 XP 850 with about 1k in accessories with 400 miles...and I sold it for $7k in Dec. '10.

Deals are out there...just have to find them.

Good luck...

Does anyone know why the gas tanks are smaller on the EPS models compared to the non EPS....I guess that was for the 2010's...Looks like they are both 5.25 for 2011...
