Can any one tell me if theres any free downloadable repair manuals for this machine? just picked up one of these machines and was looking for some info thanks!

 

I don't know about free downloads but they do make a manual for it that costs about $50. It's worth it if you're going to work on your quad.

 

there was a guy at one time who knew of a site of free down loads but would never tell me what it was so i wished i could tell you. just keep doing an internet search.

 

I have a book here, is there something specific you need to know?

 

I have a PDF 1996-2003 Sportsman 400-500 Service Manual.
No idea where I got it - Its a biggie - 53 Meg 504 pages

I've got one also. It could be sent on skype. Not sure how else. If you have skyoe let me know. I have sent pretty large files through it. But you have to stay connected through the complete download. Tony

 

goto partshark.com and on their website there's a place you can request a manual. You HAVE to be specific on what you request otherwise they will send the owners manual. But they have pretty much ANYTHING you could want for most makes/models
