Default 2010 850 xp exhaust what one?

I'm looking at getting an exhaust on my 850, but not sure what one.

First, do you really need to have the fuel optimizer? I ride in SE MN and Northern Wisconsin, UP Michigan. I read on some other post saying you didn't need it, but what to know more facts details why it is or isn't needed from some people that know something on here.

HMF Swamp XL is what i'm thinking about.
Any other ideas/suggestions?

Thanks for any help

yes you need the optimizer, unless you want to burn up the motor. It will rebalance the A/F ratio and actually give you some power back. I like the swamp as well, but they dont have a full system yet. Hot Seat, big gun, and ron woods also have kits for our bikes.

I put a HMF XL swamp series on my Xp with the optimizer. Love the sound and the power it gave the machine. I did buy the quite core with it just incase. Because we go up to the iron range once in awhile and im sure they wouldn't let me in because its to loud. So the quite core only takes a few min's to install. And the optimizer was alot easier to install than i thought it would be. It only took me about 4 beers and a half hour to install it. Plug and play.
